Each year, approximately 1200 children are reported abused or neglected in Greene County- these children have to relive their traumas as they tell their painful stories to those who will and need to listen. It’s for the worst of these cases that Michael’s House exists. Michael’s House has now served as a voice for abused children for more than 10 years.
Michael’s House exists thanks to partners in Greene County who come together to serve these families in one central location. It is through each of the partners that we work together to provide hope to the families who walk through our doors.
We hope you will spend some time learning more about Michael’s House. Thank you for visiting our website!
Michael’s House was established in 2008 to provide a warm and welcoming environment for children who are suffering from all forms of abuse in Greene County. Michael’s House is a member of the Ohio Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers. This network is a chapter of the National Children’s Alliance which is the accrediting body for children’s advocacy centers nationwide.
